OnlineProfs.com is a web project started by a small Canadian team of editors. The goal is to create a human edited, general web directory that contains a selection of quality websites of small and medium online businesses. All sites are hand picked and manually approved; if they are listed here it’s because they respect the submission guidelines and, in our opinion, they are quality resources.
Our directory is a continuous “work in progress”, so we’ll never say that you can find here every site you need about any topic that you want to search for, but, with time and help from our visitors and members we’ll create a large database of online professionals.
Mission
To become one of the largest human edited, high quality resources business directories on the Internet. Online Professionals will give the users a tool to help cut through the spam found in many search engines while also helping companies to drive targeted traffic to their sites. Submission is and will remain free (the express submission is optional).
How Are We Different?
Compared to other more “static” web directories, OnlineProfs.com is powered by the WordPress blog engine, therefore our users can provide reviews and comments on the companies listed, just like in a regular web blog.
